This refractometer is a portable, precision optical instrument that's a handy tool for checking the quality of honey and other sugary liquids, allowing you to know the ideal time to harvest honey or make maple syrup.
It features high quality optics with ultra-smooth focusing. Its main body is made of aluminium alloy. The internal high refractive index optical lens forms the precision optical system. No battery is required.
This instrument has been calibrated, no need to calibrate it for the first use!

Automatic temperature compensation makes it even easier to get fast results.

Notice:
1. Clean the instrument with a soft cloth after each use, and keep the refractometer dry and clean, which will keep the instrument accurate and durable. Do not put the whole instrument in water to wash, this may cause the refractometer to become foggy or rusty inside.
2. The instrument can measure acid, alkaline and other generally corrosive liquids. However, we do not recommend measuring these liquids over a long period of time. The residue should be cleaned immediately after measurement.
3. Please don't loosen any connecting parts and don't drop, knock or shake the instrument strongly.
4. Diopter oil is not included.
